ResumeNext connectors for Claude

ResumeNext runs 6 connectors for Claude, one for each job: you write and revise in the conversation, and the connector adds a reproducible score, ResumeNext's own libraries and a link that opens the result in the editor. They are remote MCP servers (Streamable HTTP) and work in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile, in Cowork and in Claude Code.

Setup

Add a connector from the Claude directory, or add it yourself in Claude under Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, with the server URL listed for it below. No account and no sign-in are needed: every tool works as soon as the connector is added. The tools take plain text, so Claude reads an attached file and passes its text.

ATS Resume Checker & Resume Builder

Check a resume the way an applicant tracking system reads it, improve it in the conversation, then open it in the ResumeNext editor with templates and a live score.

Check resume ATS score analyze_resume (read-only): Scores a resume for applicant tracking systems. Returns a deterministic score out of 100, a letter grade, the score by area, the issues to fix first and, when a job description is given, keyword coverage against it. Takes the complete resume as plain text. Stores nothing.
Open resume in the ResumeNext editor prepare_resume_editor (creates a private link): Creates a private link, valid for 7 days, that opens the ResumeNext editor with this resume already loaded, ready to edit, format with a template and export. Takes the complete final resume as plain text, plus the target role, company, job description and job link when the user gave them. Returns the link and the same ATS analysis as analyze_resume. Stores the resume text for the link.

Compare a resume with a job posting: which of the posting's keywords are covered, which are missing, and how the resume scores for that job.

Takes the complete resume and the full posting as plain text, plus the role, company and job link when the user gave them. Returns the link, the job-tailored ATS score and the keyword coverage. Stores the resume and the posting for the link.

Review a cover letter against a fixed checklist, read example letters for a role, and open the finished letter in the ResumeNext cover letter editor.

Data and privacy

Read-only tools (scores, checks, examples, templates, the resignation letter) process the text Claude sends and store nothing.
Tools that create a private link store the resume or cover letter you asked to open, for 7 days. Opening the link saves the document in your ResumeNext account, or in a temporary account created for it, so the work is still there when you come back.
The scores are computed by fixed rules on our servers. The connectors do not call an AI model and do not read anything in your conversation beyond the text passed to a tool.
Exporting files from the editor follows the plans on the pricing page.
